1 cup butter
2 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 - 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 t vanilla
Melt the butter, add the sugar, corn syrup, and milk. Stir constantly over med. high heat till temp reaches 245 degrees; about 12 - 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Place in a buttered pan and let cool. Keep caramel covered with plastic. |
