1 tablespoon yeast
½ cup warm water
1 cup butter, melted
½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk, scalded
5-6 cups bread flour
5 cloves garlic, roasted and crushed
2 cups Italian cheese blend
Mix the yeast with the water and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Combine ½ cup butter, eggs, sugar, and salt. Blend well and add the milk and yeast mixture. Mix in flour, half the garlic, and half the cheese. Slowly blend until you have a nice dough ball. Cover and place in a warm area to let double in size.
Roll the dough out until flat and use a biscuit cutter to cut into rounds and place in a Dutch oven. Brush rolls with remaining ½ cup butter and bake for about 45 minutes. In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle with the other half of the garlic and cheese and finish baking. Garnish and ENJOY!
